Yes, I “slogged” my way through the whole podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, I like hearing the insights and points you both make, but I also enjoy your relationship. I grew up in a home with an abusive father and followed that with 2 abusive husbands. Any word out of their mouth was more likely than not to contain a barb (or worse) and no comment (like hating your comfy pants LOL) was ever innocent and fun. I love how you, Melissa, trust him and know that it isn’t the first words toward humiliation and pain. I also love that we can trust that too. I don’t get tense on your behalf, waiting for the next words. It took a couple of podcasts before I was totally secure in that, but it is wonderful. I’m pushing 60, and have been single for over 30 years, but those bad years have left their mark. Thank you for being a safe, fun, often insightful place!
