I’m now married to a 40-year-old. And, this week we slow danced in the kitchen. We watched our kids play basketball. We ate Mexican food. We laughed at Emerald’s funny faces.
This is a good time in life. Really good.
I’m looking forward to seeing what the 40s hold in store for Chad. For me, well, I’ve still got a couple of years. Not that I’m bragging. (I am.)
My 40-year-old husband is already sawing logs. Old people need lots of rest. And, being the supportive wife that I am, I think I’ll go ahead and join him.
If I don’t say it often enough (I don’t), thank you for reading! Good night!
