I’ve talked before about the terrible conditions and situations that Iraqi Christians are facing. Today I’m partnering with the Preemptive Love Coalition to bring you just one story that will break your heart, make you grateful for our freedom and bountiful resources, and hopefully spur you to pray for our Iraqi brothers and sisters as they endure terrible persecution.
The Preemptive Love Coalition does lots of things for the Iraqi people. Most notably, they provide life-saving heart surgeries to children who would otherwise die. Please read Isaac’s story, written by a member of the Coalition team, and consider supporting the important work that the Preemptive Love Coalition is doing in Iraq.

This is Isaac.
A kidney, both of his salaries, all his free time, his car, every room in his home, and even
his own blood—these are just a few of the things Isaac, an Iraqi Christian, has given to
support the struggling Iraqi Christian community in Baghdad.
When we sat with him in his living room, he listed the hardships Christians in Iraq have
suffered. Isaac could barely talk before he was interrupted by cries of frustration from
others in the room: “What are we going to do? We’ve lost everything!” one woman
wailed.
When the militant group known as ISIS or the Islamic State recently drove Iraqi
Christians out of their ancestral homelands, many were forced out. But rather than
fleeing to safety, many were forced to resettle in Baghdad, one of the most
dangerous places for any minority.
This fire-to-frying-pan move has many Christians afraid and disconnected from one
another, unable to speak Arabic, and without the paperwork necessary to get jobs or to leave the country.
Isaac has done everything he can for these families, even donating a kidney to a family
member who was about to die! But he can’t keep going like this. At this rate, Isaac’s
health will fail and the dozens of Christian families he is currently supporting will have no help and no resources.
That’s where you come in. Our partners on the ground in Baghdad are ready to lift this
burden off Isaac’s shoulders, to provide hundreds of Christians with the the supplies
they need to survive the winter.
Will you help us serve them? By making a donation today, you’re refusing to give up on
Christianity in Iraq.
Give $25 and send a displaced child back to school.
Give $75 and provide an entire family with blankets and heaters for the winter.
Give $250 and provide a lifesaving heart surgery for a child in need.
Donate here to serve Iraqi Christian families.
I love hearing from you!
